Wow Friday has arrived very quickly this week......Today I have a great reason to love Friday. I just got off the phone after speaking to a friend who had a lung transplant a few weeks ago.....she had been waiting for 5 years and 9 months. After an initial setback while still in hospital, she is now home and doing really well. She no longer has to be restricted by being on oxygen 24 hours a day and she can walk around the house and shower herself again. It's early days and she has a long way to go but I can't wipe the smile off my face!
There were a few rays of sunshine streaming in through the kitchen doors thisafternoon, even though it was freezing cold and miserable outside.....I'm planning on sitting on the couch tonight and hopefully finishing this scarf.
