Reeling it in


It was such a lovely sunny day yesterday that I just wanted to relax and have some fun......


So I spent the afternoon playing with vintage reels of cotton, and other little treasures, while filling up my printers tray.

I'll share some photos when it's finished and back on the wall.

    Yeah, gotta love "gay green".
    But I do love old cotton reels, have a small stash myself.

    love your gay green. i have a printers tray on the wall. i must blog it one day. it probably looks like a pile of junk but every item on it has a story. i love it. can't wait to see yours

    Yes, just love the colour names on those old reels. I have a small collection too (mostly found at op-shops).
