Sunday Snippets... via Instagram

There's something kind of strange about this time in early January... lots of shops and cafes are closed, most of the city is on holidays, there's no work to be done (well actually there is, but I'm not doing it), no medical appointments to attend, nothing much to do but take a break and indulge in some silliness....







.... like seeing how many meals I could eat this week containing either bacon or pineapple.... or as a complete indulgence - both! (there were six in total for those of you playing along at home)

I wonder how many times Michelle has had bacon this week?  We've been playing bacon show and tell over on Instagram.


There was also a little bit of organising (Lissanne would be proud)

 The contents of my fridge - chocolate, doggie meantballs, and eggs... nice

    Great shots - I think I'm a lil obsessed with Instagram at the moment. I think, like you said it's something to do with the city being in holiday mode.

    how is it possible (or right) to make me crave bacon and vodka over a healthy breakfast? BTW did you know that hello pandas have a gift pack with a teeny pack of delicious goodness (or badness depending on your personal opinion) and a little collectable panda. in fact there are 365 of them. one for every day of the year. cute

    Every siingle pic, gorgeous! Have you tried Maple Syrup on your bacon, now there's a taste sensation!

    I think you're going to play the part of Miss Piggy much better than me - I've only had it twice this week, but I have a lovely packet of genuine smoked stuff in my fridge at the moment and if the weather cools down I'm going for a baconpalooza this week.

    Love all your photos - did I tell you I had pineapple on my burger this week thanks to us discussing grilled pineapple on Instagram?

    Indulge you did! All that bacon, yummmmmmmm, I want some. The bacon here in HK is not the same.
