The curtain wire has been installed so that I can section off the craft space from the rest of my living space (so I don't have to look at the mess that I've created). I still need to make myself a curtain for that wire - I'm thinking of using something quite sheer and light and plain like a muslin, but jazzing it up with some applique and embroidery.
I think today's task might be to just clean up first!
For more Tuesday's head on over and say hi to Lou (and wish her a happy birthday while you're there).
Clean up? No way! If you're anything like me it will be a mess again tomorrow. I reckon you need to get onto that curtain so you don't have to tidy, ha, ha! It looks like a nice space though!
ReplyDeleteOh! I do so envy your messy space. I dream of a messy craft space that can stay put.
ReplyDeleteLove the curtain idea. Happy curtaining. If I was curtaining of my space would need something that wasn't sheer to hide my mess... but then my mess wouldprobably just try and creep out underneath.... it tries to get out of the door...
ReplyDeleteLove the orange scales!
:)
The curtain is a great idea and the mirrors look great!
ReplyDeleteI have had "clean up the craft space" on the list forever.
That is one serious craft space! I would LOVE something so big - you lucky lady!!
ReplyDeleteyou have so much crafty space, who needs it to be clean...Make sure to post a pic of the hung curtains :)
ReplyDeleteI am all up for that curtaining off the mess theory. Looking good Ms Pops..
ReplyDeleteA great space. I know you are anxious to get it all organized and ready to use.
ReplyDeleteYou have such a FAB space Cam... almost makes up for the lack of powerpoints in the kitchen!
ReplyDeleteThe mirrors look fabulous.
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of being able to shut off the mess - unfortunately I can't do that as there is a huge pile of stuff in front of the door and it won't physically shut. Maybe I should tidy up?
ReplyDeleteI can't believe your craft space is that big!! I wish I had that much room... Thanks for your comment on my blog - the fabric is a Robert Kaufman and is part of the Iota line. It was hard to find it when I first purchased it so maybe it was a limited edition or something... Anyway, just glad I was able to get some more. Christine xo
ReplyDeleteI love the bottom mirror... it would look nice with MY new suit cases hehe. Shear curtains will also let in the much needed natural light... I can't wait to see the transformation...

Great idea to curtain off the area to the rest of the living area. My boys have a blanket on their window at the moment - might be a while until I get around to curtains but I am thinking about them (the fabric mostly!)
ReplyDeleteI like your mirrors. Happy hanging! Lisa.
ReplyDeleteI would kill for a space like that, messy or clean :p
ReplyDeletehaving a curtain to separate the areas is a good idea, and you could change the colour of the fabric really easily if you ever painted.
What a great idea, this room divider!!Looking forward to see what you create;)
ReplyDeleteI am liking the sound of your curtain divider, looking forward to seeing that.
ReplyDeleteThe mirrors look great. It's coming along nicely.
ReplyDeleteYou've got a great crafting space there Cam. Loads of room and light.
