Dressing (or Skirting) appropriately

A huge thanks for all the skirt love yesterday.

I was taking my sister out for a belated birthday dinner and a trip to the movies lastnight, all dressed up in my new tablecloth skirt.... when I realised that we were planning on heading to a local Italian restaurant.

I decided not to match the decor..... so I got changed.

Instead, I'm giving it a test run today. I'm heading down to Ballarat for the day for some op shopping adventures with my little sister. With any luck, I might even find some more tablecloths!

  1. Yes it may have been a little strange matching your skirt with the restaurant decor.. Hope you enjoyed the movie, see you soon for some Op shopping...

  2. Hmm, did I say how good it is your prints are the right way up? Don't pick up my bad habit. How did the dress go, by the way?

  3. I love the colours that are on the skirt. Though you probably did a good call not to blend in with your surroundings!

  7. Haha - probably best to avoid anywhere with red-checky tablecloths.

  8. About two years ago we stopped in Ballarat on our way to my Birthplace, Horsham. We found the best shoe shop in the whole world there! Nice skirt too !

  14. I'd lurve a skirt like that!!

A shame about my size though, you'd need to find me a table cloth in 16 seater yum-cha size.

  16. Oh wow, that's really clever - I love it! What a great print. You will definitely have to make more.

I feel inspired to do something with the cute oppy doona cover that I have (you see while you can use a nice little table cloth, I have to go more your king-sized linen!!!!).
