My place and yours - shoes

Next to my sewing table

I have far too many shoes and I can't seem to ever put them away. I usually always take them off as I walk into the house, and leave them wherever they lay, or if my feet get hot, I take them off and leave them wherever I happen to be sitting.

So today, I wandered around the house to see what I could find.

On the floor in my walk in robe

Now this is actually where they should be!

  1. My partner is always growling at me for leaving my shoes lying around. I must show him your post...at least he will know I'm not the only shoe-kick-off-where-ever-the-hell-you-feel kinda girl.

I just read the madeit newsletter. You've made an apperance again Ms CurlyPops! Well done.

  2. Lol! I hear you sister, I never put my shoes away either and my hubby gets cranky when he trips over them. I've decided to make them part of the decor so he can't complain. I love your shoe wall storage.

  9. I'd like a gold star as i keep my shoes in my walk in robe, all lined up & always know where they are. Yes, i'm a saint. It's taken a long time to get this efficient & organised, but it also coincided with me narrowing down my collection to under 20 pairs, including all Birkenstocks, thongs & sneakers. I've gone all minimal & it's so stress free.
Also, if i didn't act like the tidy shoe police, my children x 4 of them would leave a trail around the house which would drive me bonkers. Shoes are under control. Love Posie

  12. I don't have that many pairs of shoes, and I generally wear the same ones over and over, but I do leave them wherever I happen to be and have trouble finding them.
