....and it just keeps raining

This weather is just crazy. Now parts of Victoria are flooding too.


This is the Historic Hut in the park across the road from my sisters house at 7AM.....


..... and then at 9AM.


The creek usually ends down below those trees in the distance.

Luckily they're on the high side of the street and their house is built up high also, but Dear Mother Nature - please STOP now!

  9. It's amazing that we were in drought for so long and now this! I just drove past the river before, have you seen it? Hope no one tries to canoe down it this time.

  15. Holy Moly! It's crazy, isn't it. I just blogged about the flooding where my sister lives too. It's just surreal watching the news but when it hits family, it really brings it home.

  17. Cam it's getting worse... Brazil too flooded and they lost 450 lives so far!!

  18. Goodness seeing those pictures makes it ever more real that must have been so scary for your sister watching the flood level rise so quickly. My thoughts are with you all. I pray it stops soon. Dee x

  19. We've been hearing small reports of Victoria flooding, but not too much. 24 hour a day Brisbane flood coverage up here. Hope you all stay safe and well down there, and nice and dry!

  21. Oh I'm sorry, I was wishing it would go away from here, but out to sea would have been better not down to Victoria and Tasmania!
    Hope all is well down there and you stay safe and dry, we have only heard snippets of info, as Selina said, it's 24/7 here on the floods in Brisbane.
