It seems that lots of lovelypeeps have been doodling lately..... just making things for fun and frivolty - no rules apply.
Here's my latest bit of doodling - placemats from the oppy made into a sweet little clutch bag. I loved their shape so I decided to keep it. Just big enough to keep phone, keys, purse, and lippy - the perfect size for me!
I love it Miss Cam! I've been searching for some trim in that pattern for a while as it makes me feel kinda happy. I saw another one of your placemat bags at a farmers market recently on a gorgeous woman called Deb. Yay!
You should have heard me when I first saw the thumbnail of this on my blog. It is just perfect. I love it beyond words. My Mum brought back a little tissue holder just like this from Germany or it could have been Austria many years ago when she went back to visit her family. It makes me homesick for her. Cherrie
Hey, weren't we making a table setting out of our combined pieces? haha. Hmm, now to make a bag out of my tablecloth! Don't think it would be as nice as yours, though. Cute!
My nan had the table cloth of this, and recently I found the coasters at the opshop! I love this pattern, it is very Swedish or scandinavian? Anyway, I love the way you have made it into a dear little bag, how fancy you will look bopping around with it! Lovely xo
ps i got out all my tablecloths today for some more cushion making and I am sure one of them is the same as these cute placemats!!! I must go and check
Drool! Cam, I have a collection of this pattern and am constantly on the lookout for it in blue like this or in green! I am seriously jealous! Very cute bag. x
Ooohh that's lovely!!! I've found a couple of pieces of linen with similar designs on recently and have so far been reluctant to cut and sew - this may just be the inspiration I need - thanks! x
Thanks for your fabulous comment! Comments make me happy and smiley.... I try to reply so please make sure your email address is enabled in your id and not that silly no-reply comment blogger thingamajiggie!
