I have brooches in various stages of production strewn everywhere around the house. Wherever I sit, there's a pile to be stitched. I even have a blister on my thumb from the needle!

In other strange news, I sent a small parcel of brooches to Handmade Heaven on Monday afternoon, and of course, I put my return address on the bottom of the box. Tuesday was a public holiday in Melbourne. On Wednesday, I opened up my mailbox to find that Australia Post had mailed my own parcel back to me. What the????
More creativity abounds over here....
Ooh, look at all those beautiful brooches waiting to come to life! For some reason I have an urge to eat them, must be because they look delicious! Can't wait to see what becomes of that flywire.

I like the flywire idea - could be a great sculpting medium for some 3d brooches?
ReplyDeleteLook at you go - you are a brooch making machine! Remember that it is still meant to be fun
ReplyDeleteYour brooches are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLoev the idea of flywire! A friend makes handbags out of gutter guard!
ReplyDeleteDon't the brooches look gorgeous. I love the colours. You might need to get yourself one of those leather thumb thingummies for doing the stitching??
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to seeing what turns up from your flywire experiment. That's most intriguing. Perhaps I could commission you to come and embellish a rather large hole made in our flywire door made by a cat and two small boys?
Such a resplendent (thank-you Roget's Thesaurus) collection of fabric flowers. I can't imagine a prettier production line.
ReplyDeleteLove the brooche's colours.
ReplyDeleteAust Post is a mystery to me too...
x
Super loving the flywire idea Cam.
