NQR

Just to show that not everything goes to plan around here.....

I made a texta roll many moons ago for a friends little boy. Now that little boys younger sister needs her very own texta roll too.

Being the lazy sewer that I am, rather than starting the cutting out from scratch, I raided my pre-cut binding strips tub to find 24 different fabrics strips to piece together.

Maybe I shoud have started with a calculator..... because 24 x 2 inch strips ended up being nearly as long as the ironing board!

  6. That's one hell of a texta roll! PS. you've enlightened me to something. My 2 year old is learning the alphabet and loves to draw 'letters'. She scribbles away reciting NBQR - not sure what the B stands for, but perhaps she's secretly trying to tell me something. : )

  11. She could hang it horizontally above her drawing station!! If she doesn't have one now is the perfect time. Meanwhile the bias binding stash sounds great!! Looks great too!!
