Getting Cushy - Part Two


After showing off my most recent foray into cushion making, I'd completely forgotten about these gorgeous cushions that I created for Gleaners Inc.


Scotland..... this one reminded me of my crafty cousin Iona. She runs community craft workshops and has an online eco-shop and a bricks and mortar eco-boutique named Wolf Bones in Glasgow.


Malta...... this one reminded me of Peta Pledger - dressmaker extra-ordinaire


and last but not least Tassie.....

    look great! Reminded me I still haven't made mine up. They were put in the too hard basket. Shall have to put them in the just do it basket.

    I love maps. I have a bit of a collection of souvenir scarves A made a few into cushions but I found they were not very hard wearing (too many children jumping on them, kicking them....you get the picture!) but tea towels are a much better idea!

    I love these! Clever using the red fabric as a back. It works really well with the vintage fabrics.
    These photos are also particularly lovely Cam. Such soft pretty light.

    Awesome! LOL! Gives me some ideas for things to do with a stash of fabric I smuggled back from my moms basement. Oh, it was a basement to die for! If only I lived in the same country!
