I've been promising these for the longest time.... but my new teatowel range is finally ready to go!

I have to thank my lovely instagram peeps for helping me make desicisions on the designs...
In the end, most agree that the black stoke looked the best, so I went with that.

There are four fun designs to begin with

Fuschia and Lime Floral

Tangerine and Green Floral

Dry The Dishes

They're all ready and waiting in the shop!

Studio Makeover Time

Now that I have lovely new lungs and don't need to use the nebuliser three times a day, I thought it was high time that I finally moved the computer (and everything else that goes with it) into the studio space.

I've had a real lack of motivation lately when it comes to design, and I'm sure it was just because I didn't want to go and sit in the spare room where the computer lived.

I made a start lastnight... I made sure to take photos of all of the connections before I unplugged anything, just in case I couldn't work out how to put it all back together!

I continued on today, moving all of the storage out of the studio and into the spare room (that was previously the study).

I put my old computer desk on the naturestrip with a sign. I hope it finds a lovely new home.

After more than three hours and a full wheelie bin of junk, this is what I ended up with. It all looks a bit white and bare, but for me, this is the kind of space that I need to be able to work.

I just need to find a space in the garage to store all of those empty boxes that are sitting on top of the cupboards and then I'll be happy.

Hey, now that the computer is in the studio, I might even start blogging more often again!

The Hottie Challenge - Final Days

Can you believe there's only two days to go?

I went to the visit the Hotties at Open Drawer today after my HLTTV Editors meeting, and my fellow double lung transplant recipient (and photographer extraordinaire) Snap Happy Ian bought along his camera gear to take some lovely photos for me.
(I promise I won't subject you to any of my crappy iPhone photos in this post).

There are lots of Hotties still up for grabs - anything that DOES NOT have a red dot is still for sale.

If you're interested in buying one of your very own, I'm happy to collect it from Open Drawer and pop it in the post for you next week. All you need to do is email me - mscurlypops@gmail.com

Alternatively, leave a comment on this post and I'll get back to you - but please make sure your email address in enabled in your ID or I won't be able to email you back.

They're all just $40 each - bargain price!

But the best bit of course, is that all the funds raised go to the Margaret Pratt Foundation for Lung Rejection Research at the Alfred Hospital.

Last but not least.... Rhonda and Ketut are up for silent auction - current bid is sitting at $55.
Let me know if you'd like to make a silent bid yourself!

Hope you enjoyed the show.

Just a Quickie

Super quick blog post tonight!

'Twas a lovely surprise to see my Heart Brooch as one of Lauren's Made It Picks this week. Hopefully next week I'll actually have some spare time to make some more.

I have some really really exciting news to share, but alas, I can't spill the beans just yet.... and I still have my fingers (and toes) crossed for Finders Keepers. The suspense is killing me!!!

The Week That Was.... mostly in pictures

A week of getting back into the day job type of work meant that I was busy busy busy...

I prepared in advance to watch the Great Australian Bake Off..

....and indulged in yumminess at NCB Wednesday night.

Which meant that I really needed a nice healthy stir-fry Thursday night!

I received a beautiful thankyou gift in the mail

... and a new teatowel sample

Mr Limpy Houdini Dog took over for me on twitter for a while...

Then the end of the week meant more testing at the Alfred...

...and a teensy bit of design work Friday night before I nearly fell asleep at the screen.

...and tried to retire to the couch, but someone was in the way

I had to wait for all those rainclouds to clear today before I could head off on a little walk.

...and watched the sun setting in the distance on the way home.

In other uber-exciting news, I applied for Finders Keepers - eeeeeek!

Please keep your fingers and toes crossed for me!

PS - if you can't find me in this space, I'm always over on instagram - @curlypops
