Just Five Days

Houdini's Granny Blanket on the couch

Houdini dog lived up to his nickname after just five short days......

I've been feeding him his favourite foods, and I even let him sleep inside as it was really quite chilly, but then I came home from work lastnight to find him gone, although I could hear him yelping. I'd had my fences re-inforced all around the back, but he'd managed to dig himself a little squeezy hole at the side of the house instead. It seems that he'd had a jolly old day playing with Zane the malamute next door.

After dinner, I made him a nice little spot on the couch with an op-shopped granny blanket.....

Can you see me?

But where do you think I found him instead?

I think he might be in hiding from Hissy Cat.

I promise this is definitely not becoming a Dog Blog...... it just seems that way at the moment!

hehe! I don't mean to laugh at your misfortune with little Houdini dog, but he totally cracks me up! 5 days, surprised it took him that long, must be getting old!

I checked for holes the other day whilst I was there! CAn.t believe he managed to dig under that fence. I dont think hes ever seen a malamute in his life either! ANd if I was him I would hide from you too, he knows he is in trouble!!!

I've just caught up with the whole Houdini story, I somehow missed a few posts. He looks like a dear little fella, I hope he settles down and stops trying to rack off. Could he have some more playtime next door perhaps? It sounds like he needs company, but maybe not the feline kind! xo ps did your mum move near your sis?

Houdini looks adorable. What a naughty thing to go exploring so far from a home full of granny blankets and treats! PS. I get to spend 2 days a week in Handmade Heaven and always love your creations. Looking forward to seeing the new arrivals tomorrow. Good work Curly Pops!
