My Creative Space

In my creative space today - new curtains for mums bathroom in her country cottage. The new shower has been installed, but she's still waiting for the inside toilet.

I found everything I needed in the stash already, which is just how I like it - floral remnant teamed with op shopped purple linen/cotton blend.

A quick tip - if you ever see curtain tape or curtain rings and hooks at the oppy, then it's definitely worthwhile buying them. You just never know when someone may need them, and it's soooooo much cheaper than buying them new!

Ooh - an inside toilet will make all the difference this winter! Nice curtain combo - the block colour really brings up the pattern. Nic

I'm a "you never know when..." op shopper too. Makes for very full cupboards, does it not?

Very good advice Cam but I'm trying to stop the "one day" purchases. Full to overflow at my place ;)

I love the sound of a 'country cottage'. Conjures up all sorts of nice images, including lovely curtains. Great job!

Ohhh - outdoor toilet brings back memories of fearful dashes in the night as a child to the spider infested loo.

PS -- love the shower curtain
