Animation Friday - Flower Pot

gif animator

Animation Friday has come around way too quickly this week!

This is a little drawing that I started working on while sitting on the couch watching Tacky House lastnight. The photos are very poor quality as I took them with my phone (couldn't be bothered getting off the couch to find the camera).

My new pens are getting a workout - I've taken my sketchbook nearly everywhere this week. It's a bit difficult in waiting rooms as people like to stare.... a lot, so I might have to go back to taking my knitting with me as well, and decide the craft activity based on the anticipated audience response.

Pop on over to My Poppet to play along.

These animations are fun! That drawing is great - not bad for a night before whip up! Lou.

This is great. I love flowers.

BTW don't be put off by people staring. They are probably just curious. :)

I find I get a lot of stares for doing my crochet in my weekly doctor's appts (I have to wait half an hour after injections) ... from all the oldies!! I'm not too sure whether they thing the crochet is odd, or a young person doing crochet!

That looks fantastic well done.
The people staring are just probably wondering why they did not think to bring their own sketch pad! Maybe they were to shy to ask for a piece of paper from you to try for themselves.

Haha, I love that you anticipate the reaction to specific crafts in the waiting room. I generally chase kids, seems that when I do take the knitting, they run away so fast i get caught up in my wool. :p

I've notice most people just want to know what you are drawing and I have gotten a few jobs drawing in waiting rooms :)
then again if you bring the knitting you have something to poke the people with when they get too close :p

Can't get your drawings out of my mind - Awesome!!! When you're feeling better would you consider printing your own fabric? I would definitely be up for buying some.
Hope you are in better health soon.
