The list

I had a relaxing morning on the couch yesterday eating delicious lemon tart and mini red velvet cupcakes, before making a trip to Spotlight and then getting cracking back into working through all of the items on my christmas list....

I'm making pressies for friends to give their family members, and pressies for me to give my family members, and I've even managed to outsource some hatmaking for my nephews, as I know that I just won't have time to get to that one. Luckily, Bec has the exact same pattern as me, and can whip up a hat much faster!

I've been making some super simple tea towel totes, some zippered pencilcases in various sizes (I still need more practice with getting neat corners on the zips), and some bookmarks.

Still on the TO DO list:

1 x Pink Tutu
1 x Black Tutu
2 x Dress Up Skirts
6 x Animal ears and tails
2 x Chefs Hats
2 x Aprons
1 x Softie
1 x Baby Dress

....and I still need to think of something to make for a 5 year old boy.

How many days until Christmas again?

Goodness, I didn't know your list looked like that. That's a mighty big list. I probably shouldn't have added my requests to it.

Well now, that IS a list! Good luck. I'm grateful that my family has a one-gift-per-adult policy now so that means a lot less creating! Phew...

Idea for a boy. Maybe a chair bag. A bag that hangs over the back of a chair and has a large pocket at the bag. They could put lots of goodies in it. They tend to have chair bags at primary schools. So I hope you know what I mean.

You need to add to list, plane trip to Tahiti or somewhere exotic. :-)

I found adding a doubled over piece of fabric as a tab to either end of the zip helps to make the corner neater. Cherrie

Oh wow where do you find the time??? No wonder you needed a cupcake and some lemon tart before heading in to face spotlight!!! Good luck :)

I'm no joy on the 5 year front I'm afraid - my 5 year old nephew is into transformers... but he did get a cool vinyl cape and mask that you can whip up easily (on my blog is a pic of what I mean) and he loves it! Merry Christmas :)

You never fail to amaze me with the amount of stuff you manage to fit in! Good luck in getting it all done, luckily you have SuperPops to help you!

You outsourced the hat..??!!! That pattern will have to be used one day Ms Curlypops!

Good idea to have a list. Helps to take about 0.5% of the stress away.

For a 5 year old boy... a pencilcase with his name on it, full of textas, stickers, notepad.... you get the idea. Maybe?

Now that sounds like me last year! I made every single present and burnt myself out! I didn't go near the sewing machine for a month. I hope you can get your list all ticked off - what about a pair of boxer shorts?

I had a list very similar to that.. the boy on my list was 4 and I made him a stuffed monkey with a super hero cape & mask as well as his own cape for the days he wants to help save the world ;o)
