A Medicare Statement is the new black

I had to crop the end off the photo to hide my medicare number

Not wanting to waste that sheet of inkjet printable fabric, I decided to test out the new 115mm flex frames that I'd ordered earlier in the week.

I thought I'd stick with the medical theme and make myself a little pouch for my handbag. I'm constantly scrounging around inside the bottom to find lip balm, tissues, inhalers and the like.

Now I'm completely sorted.... and if I ever forget my name, or lose my medicare card, I can just pull out my pouch. Not just pretty - but functional too!

hehehe! Love it!!! And, I think we have the same inhaler!! Officially cracked up, I would love to be standing next to someone in line at the hospital to have them pull this out to check their medicare number!

Quirky, cute and personalised! Can't wait to try the ink jet printable fabric too - the iron on stuff does not wash too well!

Now that is just inspired! I wish I'd had one of those when I was doing the rounds of the surgeons and specialists as a young woman!!

Cam, you should have saved it for the tax man! Imagine if you were ever audited ... you could say, excuse me while I bring out my stash ... er I mean receipts.

Love your pouch - excellent use of a receipt :)

I am just catching up on a bit of blog visiting and very pleased to see the end result of the "medicare project" (sounds a bit top secret doesn't it). So brilliant that I now need a Panadol and a bit of a lie down to recover. :)
