Eye Spy......a taste Summer

Summer still hasn't really hit Melbourne yet this year, but these are images from last summer....

Holidays at the beach

and swimming in my backyard pool (it's actually more like me sitting on a banana lounge, and watching other people swimming in my backyard pool) are the things that most remind me of summer.

Thanks to Anastasia (who is currently taking a lovely summer holiday) for this weeks theme, and don't forget to head over and visit hostess Cindy to play along.

Looks very refreshing. It has been sufficiently hot in Sydney I feel, though I am more a Spring/Autumn type!

Ahh, I miss my boyfriends parents old house. Very nice pool.
I like the idea of having a pool at my house alot.
I have absolutely no execution with the cleaning and other maintenance though!
Yours looks nice :)

Well, I have to say - it was hot enough for those poor English kids I have just returned to the UK! There is nothing so wonmderful on a hot day than immersion in cool water. Nice choice.

Summer hit in Sydney for a few days, and then went away again, for which I was profoundly grateful. :P

I agree with the letting others doing the swimming while sitting peacefully. It has to be about 40 before my toes even go in!
Hey I'm jealous you won that great table cloth!

I love the beach in summer (am too afraid to dip my toes in that icy water any other time!)
