My Creative Space

Today, my creative space is confined to a cardboard box....

I've been keeping an eye out at the oppy for unusual bits and pieces that can be re-crafted.
This was a belt, but now I've taken it apart with my trusty pliers and I'm going to make some brooches for the market.

Head on over to visit Kirsty to see who else is playing along!

My sister is such a fan of turquoise. How clever of you to think about pulling a belt apart like that and re-purposing it. Congrats on a great idea.

Those will make great badges. You could probably make some nice bracelets out of those beaded chainy bits too.

BTW Ella says thanks for the parcel - She will be road-testing away over the weekend... will let you know the verdict (have a feeling it will be thumbs up)

Op Shop craft...the very best kind and the added bonus of a boy tool.

I love the turquoise too. Can't wait to see the belt's next incarnation as brooches.

A belt into broaches! I love the way your mind works to see something, take it apart, and put it together in a new way.

Hi,

They would also make awesome earings. I am looking for some really great earrings at the moment for a friend who is an earring lover. Would love to see your creations?

What a great find! I love looking out for old costume jewellery as well with plans of recrafting it.

Ooh I had one of those! I wish I hadn't got rid of it now, it looks most useful indeed pulled apart!
