Stitches and Craft Volunteers

Martine from Greenolive emailed me to get the message out to fellow crafters who may be interested in volunteering some of their crafty skills for the Stitches and Craft show.

They need volunteers for the Craft Bar, a brand new development at this year's show. The volunteers have unvolunteered themselves leaving a craft bar with no crafters!

The Craft Bar is a fun, free place where crafters can go and have fun with papercraft, sewing, knitting or embroidery. There are several crafty dishes on the menu, all you have to do is choose one.

The volunteers (that's you) will be at the Craft Bar showing people how to do so some of the stitching projects.

As a volunteer, here's what's involved:
• working at the show for free, each day from 8.30am to 5pm
• free entry to the show
• lots of fun, the chance to meet people and share your passion for crafting
• small perks (not sure what this entails, but its sure to be great!)

So if you are crafty, have free time during the days the Show is on, and you would like to help out, contact Angela: angela.gualtieri[at]livingcreatively.com.au

If only I was crafty. This sounds like it could be great fun.

Thanks for posting this plea. I have contacted Angela and now I get to come and play with lots crafty people having a go at embroidery. Like some of my best adventures I am feeling a mixture of nervousness, excitment and am pondering my sanity. :)
