Cheery

I was having a bit of a crisis of confidence yesterday, which completely killed off my sewing mojo, so today, my mission is to spend the day being happy and cheerful.

These are some things that make me happy:

Gorgeous housewarming flowers (in my favourite colour combination) from Tinniegirl

A package of beautiful vintage fabric that arrived in the mail from Snailblazer....

......with a teatowel!

What makes you happy?

Oh those flowers .... oh that fabric ... oh that teatowel!! I think I'll just piggyback off your happy things today, they are all lovely. Orange and purple is my favourite colour combo too! My glasses are those colours.

Oh Cam, I know how soft and beautiful that green paisley fabric is. I had a bag made from it here during H. Help.
I wholeheartedly agree. Spend today surrounding yourself with things you love. And if that includes a whole lotta chocolate??? Then go for it!

I have days where I'm absolutely paralyzed in the sewing room. I know how it feels!!

As for what makes me happy - so much - Allen's party mix and retro party mix. I eat a full bag for lunch every day (please don't tell my husband). Cherry coke. Dr Pepper. I guess I can be appeased with sugar!

It's frustrating when you have those flat days...especially when you have a lot to do, or sew. I think your mission is the best medicine, give yourself a break! What makes me happy and cheers me up is thinking of my good friendships & how rewarding they are. Chats, debriefs & laughs with mates are ace! x

Glue. Glue makes me happy, and paint, paintbrushes, sunny days in my craft room, friends, blogging and being creative.

Hope you have a much happier day today.

I had a bad day yesterday too, and what a great idea to just concentrate on things that make you happy today - i think i will do the same...

My cat waiting on the doorstep for me when i arrive home from work each day makes me happy, and the thought that from Friday i will also have a gorgeous puppy waiting for me too makes me extra happy, also hearing my husband's motor bike in the afternoon when he is arriving home from work makes me happy too..

Hope today is better. Seeing my kids make me happy and also crafting and the crafting community. PS - I hope Tinniegirl isn't sniffing that glue!

I love flowers. Also a glass of wine or coffee with something nice to eat - in or out of the house. Bit of sunshine but not too hot. Hope you have a nice day.

Please don't let those thoughts triggered by that article get too loud. Speak nice to yourself. From the postings I have seen your creations look fantastic, fun, creative and beautiful. Glad you found happy things today. If I get to come and see you at Thornbury and see your wares that will make me happy. Fabric and chocolate and friends make me happy.

What makes me happy? Spending an hour or so blog hopping. So inspiring and motivating to see what others are creating - including you Curly Pops. Hope you're having a better day.

I agree, grab that happiness and know that your crafting is fun and fabulous. I get happiness from fabric, coffee, and a delicious dinner lovingly made (cooking usually makes me very happy - yes, I know that may not be true for everyone, but we're all different!)
And everything's better with dark chocolate.

Oh yes that vintage fabric would make me happy too!

I've been crazy-busy for too long it seems, so some time off will make me very happy, when it finally happens :)

Reading your blog makes me pretty happy!!

Also sunshine, autumn days, time to craft alone with ABC local radio turned up loud. St Kilda winning the footy.

It's sometimes a struggle to search for the happy in the little things, when so much is mounted against you. The last few weeks, for me, have been so hard, and it's only been the thought of an end-date (the end of my contract) and the promise of a weekend off work to spend in the sewing room that has helped me get out of bed in the mornings.

Poo bum to future crises of confidences! You are fabulous. I think so, and so does everyone else.
