What day is it?

I don't seem to know what's going on around here. Somewhere between the beginning of Blogtoberfest and Daylight Savings, my brain has lost a day.

I have quite a few appointments this week, so here's hoping that I don't miss any!

It was such a glorious day yesterday, so in the afternoon I picked up Moo Moo from home, and took him for a drive to pick up his big brother from school, so that I could take them both to the skate park (my ulterior motive being that I could sit and draw in the sunshine and fresh air).

He was deliriously tired and yapped all the way to school and kept calling me Nan instead of Cam (he just spent last weekend at his Nan's house). Then poor little Moo Moo fell asleep in the car one minute before the school bell rang....... which meant that most of his scooter riding time at the skate park was spent snoring instead.

When I finally woke him up to go and play, I'd half finished my drawing. Luckily for me, Moo Moo (who is three) could correctly identify (even in his half asleep state) that I was trying to draw a turtle.... and next up, he wants a Lion???

Daylight savings, Blogtoberfest, and school holidays are making it hard for me to figure out what day it is. Thankfully it's on the bottom right hand corner of my laptop.

It's great, I love his glasses! I've been a bit lost with daylight savings too, everything is out of wack!

Oh I love his little glasses! I'm really loving your drawings. Hopefully you get plenty more drawing time while sitting around at all your appointments this week.

I will be sure to keep on my toes when daylight saving time hits the US...i think it's at the end of this month for us across the pond.

Yes, daylight savings sending me into confusion too. I reset my laptop clock to the correct time but it refuses to stay and keeps reverting back!

lol did you see the ads for a family guy episode on the other night? With the snail riding the tortoise? And the snail was like "Hey, slow down! I wanna get there, but I wanna get there alive!"

I have a particular fondness for turtles :-) He is very cute, what sort of colour treatment will he be getting???

The lion sounds like a wonderful idea, an image of a Medusa like many coloured mane immediately came to mind :-) (Without the snake heads of course, just the multicoloured crazy waviness of it)
