I ate vegies yesterday and I liked it

Well it helps that the vegies were morphed into a very yummy and scrumptious pumpkin pie which was accompanied by whipped cream!

It was a lovely little crafternoon at the Beccasauras abode yesterday.

There was a little bit of kiddie craft...

.... and some serious tiny exquisite embroidery stitching going on

.... and then there was my stitching.

But, as per usual... it was all about the food!

I ate so much that I nearly had to call for a wheelbarrow to roll me out the door.
Thanks so much for a very wonderful day out girls!

PS - I'm so glad I'm in the Dance for Cheese loop now... and we even got a personal demo!

Sound like a lovely day out!
I had Stitch and Bitch at my house on Friday night too - but it was not as yummy as this one sounds!

I'm learning as far as the vegies go, it's all about the disguise (whipped cream usually works)...

Oh pumpkin pie, I do that very well - both in the eating part and the making part. I love it!

Looks like fun. What kind of crafting experience can there be without the food?? :-)

That looks like such fun! I think once I've moved, I need to have friends over once a month for afternoon teas....where we make it all, then scoff it all.

Pumpkin pie is a very American thing, accepted as a part of the landscape; you Aussies always seem to take a second look at the fact that it is a VEGETABLE!!! lol (Though, technically, pumpkin is a fruit. Take that. :p )

How funny. A couple of girlfriends of mine keep talking about getting together and sewing. I can't sew but they are determined to help me. If we can guarantee we'll have as much fun as your little soiree than I'm in!

I couldn't help reading your post title to the tune of "I Kissed a girl .....and I liked it"
Was this intentional on your part?

Oh no - not only did I miss out on all that fine company and craftiness.... but I MISSED PUMPKIN PIE???? (I'm totally loopy for the stuff).

I was a germy, voiceless sniffle-bag... probably best that I didn't show (but pumpkin pie.....!!!).
