It's a finale and everyone's a winner (including me)

Sheesh, what an amazing Blogtoberfest month it has been - 270 bloggers aiming to post each and every day for the entire month of October. I hope everyone had lots of fun with the challenge.

I had a wonderful month trying to write posts myself, and keep up with hundreds of posts in my google reader each day. I also finally returned to work, and to markets, after my trio of setbacks earlier in the year.

I participated in Home is Where the Craft Is, and had a few crafty giveaways to celebrate..... but I think the thing that I'm most excited about, is having my own fabric designs printed.

Which of course brings me to the very important business of choosing a winner!

Dragster Dominoes was the most popular choice hands down. I had this original sample printed in cotton, but it will look even better in a cotton/linen blend.

There were 57 entries.....

.....and the winner is number 29 - Tartan Kiwi

Thankyou so much to everyone who entered and picked their favourite swatch. The good news is that I couldn't decide which ones to print as yardage, so I've ordered all of them!

As soon as it arrives, I'll pop some in the shop for anyone who is interested.

Happy Blogtoberfest...... 'til next year Blogtoberfestians

PS - You can still check out the Blogtoberfest Giveaways Page because there are still lots left to enter!

Yay! That was my favourite too :)

I can't tell you how much I want to thank you and {tinniegirl} for Blogtoberfest ...

It opened my eyes to such amazing creativity It made me laugh, made me cry & made me scratch my head a lot to think of good posts.

It's given me a whole heap of new ideas and goals.

I've just added a pay it forward giveaway to the list ...

Thank you again for such a fantastic time!

Love your fabrics and it's fantastic you got to print your own designs.
Thanks again for all the fun I've had. The bulging reader is a problem that I didn't adequately deal with - nor the dodgy posts at the end as I ran out of steam, and sensible things to post.
I will definitely do it again next year - 12 months should be enough time for the family to get over it!!lol

Have you tried scrolling up and down over your dragster dominoes and enjoyed the optical illusions that they are coming towards you? Fun. Thanks to you and Cathy both for another fantastic month. I really enjoyed this year's blogtoberfest as I accepted Cathies encouragement that it was about joining in d not so much about being perfect and I still managed 25 posts without feeling pressured. Great stuff!! Cherrie

Thank you so much! This blogtoberfest has been a very exciting one for me. I started off just as a reader of blogs and by the end had been so inspired that I decided to start my own blog! I will definitely be participating next year as a blogger!!! Watch my blog to see what I make with the material (but please allow me a wee bit of time as bubs #2 is due in mid-December).
Thanks again :-)
