Tablecloth Love

Do you remember that I mentioned that I bought myself a couple of lovely vintage tablecloths last weekend?

Well, I had a little mini panic attack thismorning when I realised that I couldn't find them!

But disaster averted. Suprisingly, they were exactly where I'd dumped them when I unpacked the car.

Now to decide just what to do with them (they're far too pretty for spilling food on)!

Anything you ever lost is exactly where you find it. Winnie the Pooh said something like that. I never know what to do with those maps but the vivid colours get me in every time. Love them. Cherrie

must be something in the air. i am constantly losing things lately (including my zoom lens *#%* #^) i think you need to commoner and retrace my steps to see if you can find it. Love the cloths. they wouldn't be safe in my place-snip,snip

I know it's not particularly creative, but I think the second tablecloth would make a terrific cushion.

You want a 70s kind of one in floral orange & green? There was one at the oppy yesterday I picked up & then put back, I can pop down & see if they still have it?

I was brought up in NZ, but my mum is an Aussie...one year she went for a holiday to Australia with my dad and brought back tablecloths very similar to these ones...back in the seventies! They were our very special...take out and have when guests arrive tablecloths for many years..lol.

It is very inconsiderate of inanimate objects to stay exactly where they are put, isn't it? How on earth can we be expected to find them lol!

It'll be mischief along a Yasi-sized scale, I suspect...

If they were big enough they would make a great skirt :) I have a tablecloth waiting patiently to be turned into a skirt..... Or cushions would be good too!

How much do I love all the cowboys on that first tablecloth? There are so many it's redonkulous! Personally I'd use them as tablecloths, but I'm a tablecloth kinda gal!

Ohh, that top one has to go on the wall, a quilted wall hanging perhaps?
