A Flute and a Hoot
Amanda finally received her swap apron in the mail this week, so now I can do the big reveal.
I had to be careful not to chop off the poor pussycat's ears when I chopped into the tea towel, so I added a fabric section at the top to lengthen the apron.
After the dilemma I was having about finding some co-ordinating fabric in the stash for the binding, I actually decided to sort through the huge plastic container full of fabric strips that I've previously pre-cut.
Where I managed to find the perfect complemetary coloured binding strips.
You see, there are some advantages to living in a house that is overflowing with fabric....

So cute!!! And... are there DISadvantages to living in a house that is overflowing with fabric??? I can't see any! :D (Though my hubby may disagree!)
Oh Cam - YES! Most excellent - that tea towel is a treasure - well, now that apron is a treasure... jealous as hell over here...! ;)
LOVE. Another "too nice to get grubby"
creation!
I love it- somthing this stylin could actually get me in the kitchen...maybe...
It's fantastic! Love the fabric, beautiful!
very cute. I love a good apron.
This one reminds me of one of my favourite dresses when I was five or so. Although the dress had a mouse on it, it was in the same style of picture.
Fabulous! That tea towel is priceless.
I reckon this is the best apron yet! It's so bloomin cool!
WOW She will be one funky cook in the kitchen! Love it!!
Oh, wow...this is off the charts cool!
I love it Cam! So so much!
Baking cakes never looked so yummy! It's hanging on a hook from the linen cupboard, ready and waiting to be used whenever I need it! I can't help myself but look at it and feel it every time I walk past! lol
Thankyou so so much!
Gorgeous colours. And I so love those bibs below. Adorable. xo m.
thats great - where did you get that tea towel from?
Funny. I can ONLY see advantage in living in a house overflowing with fabric! (it's disguise the overflowing with laundry thing for a start).
That is gorgeous. I must admit that as scared as I am of my stash taking over the house, it is lovely being able to find what you need fabric-wise 24/7
Looks fantastic! I love the colour combination :)
So awesome Cam, love it!
My dream home is a house overfilled with fabric. Maybe when I grow up I can live in a fabric store?
That cat is adorable, much too nice to take the scissors to.
I think there are many advantages to living in a house overflowing with fabric!
Fantastic! The teatowel is so cool - love that cat! This is why you can never have too much fabric!
