My Creative Space

I finally plonked myself down on the couch Monday night (while watching Offspring) with the intention of stitching the lovely curved frame onto my Glam Purse.

It seems that it's been in the WIP pile for a quite a while now, but I desperately want to finish it so that I can use it!

But then, I got a little distracted by  Jay Ryan...... ummm yes that's a bead that I've stitched on the inside.

Well with divided attention anything can happen! Never mind, a little bit of beaded glam for the inside of your purse as well.

I've had the odd stray bead too. Mine are usually on the outside though. Grab a pair of pliers and squeeze!

Distracted by a kiwi A?
I'd never seen Offspring before - hadn't realised it was a comedy!

LOL - I managed to snap a bunch of pads while watching, and am pleased to say that they're all facing the correct way. I just double checked after reading this ;).
I hope the bead is easy enough to fix!

Sew-in frames are less messy than the glue-on version but I can see why it's taken you so long to get round to it!! I think Michelle is right - leave that stray bead!!

That little bead can be your purposeful mistake..you know..like the Amish do..just to prove they're not perfect to signify humility!

I watched the angst and grief of forbidden lust for a whole series...then they just pack the toned 6-pack of Dr Chris interstate? Pleaseeeeeee!

Love the fabric you have used. Leave the bead. You can always ID your purse if ownership is questioned.
I bought this kit last week. Might try my hand at it at my sewing retreat next weekend :)

I have fabric to do the Glam Purse and the kit just got to get to it because I want to do it for a pressie in early June. I the colour you used, mine is going to be olive green which isn't my colour but suits my friend down to a T. I think I could get into Offspring but haven't tried yet.

Well there are worse things than being distracted by a pretty face... I think you should leave that little bead right where it is. Gives your very glam purse unique character. BTW, I love the polka dot lining.

It's so pretty - even with its stray bead!

If I attempted to make that beautiful little beaded purse there would be more than one of them sewn on the inside - I'm sure of it!

Carmel is right in the "cure" technique... but I'd say leave it there. It'll make you smile each time you notice it.

I was once sewing and drinking champagne with a friend. I sewed a crooked label into a garment and left it. It made me laugh each time I wore it.

Lovely purse. I've not tried sew-in frames. I love the beads - even the stray one.
