I'm a little bit late with My Creative Space today, but I had to join in to show the latest little change in my craft area....
I don't have cords running all over the sewing table anymore!
I bought the tables second-hand so I wasn't precious about drilling holes in them (not that I'm actually precious about anything in particular anyway - except fabric).
All it took was a spade bit and some muscle (provided by ex-Mr CP).
Head on over to visit Kirsty to check out the lots and lots of others who've joined in!

Got to love an ex that will still help out with drilling when needed. Much easier, darn my glass sewing table
I have to say it. That is one sexy looking space. Way to go on the cord holes.
Great idea...nice job on the cleaning up, by the way! Lisa.
Great work!
Nearly every piece of furniture we have has been taken to with a hole saw in my crazy attempts to get cables OUT OF THE WAY!
Ah, yes, I too am a big fan of drilling holes where needed. I mean, if it improves the furniture, what harm was really done? :) Enjoy the cleaner look!
Wonderful job! I did this to my mother in law's kitchen bench to get rid of the microwave from view.
looking good - I may have to take a page from your book and do it myself! :)
This is awesome! I was thinking about doing this the other day, but I love my green table too much :(
Oh. I have overlocker envy.
Did you get the mr ex-CP to put up some peg-board while he was there?!
Nice job! I use those laminex and chrome tables as desks... I suppose it would be sacrilege to drill holes in those.
Oh Nice idea I'll keep that in mind for when I get a table ... and a space ... LOL
that looks really neat and tidy like that :) if I had a desk I could drill some holes in I would def. do that.
Ms CP, Well done on the cord wrangling. It is no small task, mine are like rampant spaghetti at my feet, drives me nuts. : )
I don't think I have ever got excited about holes before!! Well done!!
Cool! Great idea. Thanks for sharing
