Why timing is everything

I arrived home late last Monday night, tired, cranky, and even a little bit teary (over *emotional much)?

It was cold and wet and dark but as I checked the letterbox, there was an unexpected package inside. A beautiful floral tea towel from the Paris Flea Market.

Uhuh! The PARIS Flea Market.... in FRANCE

While Selina was off enjoying her holiday in Paris, she spotted this and thought I would love it (as of course I do).

There will be no sharp implements allowed anywhere near this tea towel. I'm going to get my brother to make me a stretcher frame in the right size, so that I can make it into a piece of wall art....

Oh, and the chocolate, well I'm sure you can work out the fate of that after a week at my place?

Thankyou so much Selina - you absolutely turned my day around (more than you know)!

*after a visit to the Specialist last week, he thinks that it's time to go forward with the pre-testing for a lung transplant to determine whether I can be added to the waiting list. I'm still absorbing the news..... but I have started a new blog..... because what else would I do at a time like this?

Gorgeous gift and perfect for displaying prominently.
The chocolate appears well timed too with that news to digest. Wishing you well on that journey.

That is such huge news to absorb, Cam, even though I know it's been on the "kinda agenda" (if you know what I mean) for a while. I shall follow your new blog and cheer you on every step of the way. xxx

Love the teatowel and the treats. If anyone deserves treats, it's you!

I am so jealous. Totally love that towel. You could get your brother to make a little ledge on the bottom of the frame so that the chocolate could be placed there forever too....... hehehee.

What to write about that news I don't know. I think you are amazing, and braze and inspirational. What a fantastic time we are living in where medical technology is improving at lightening speed, we are indeed so lucky to have options. Thinking of you Cam.

That was so lovely of Selina and obviously perfect timing.

I watched Australian Story last night about Dr Charlie Teo - The brave neurologist who performs miracles that other doctors won't go near. Medicine has come such a long way Cam and a transplant will be a wonderful positive thing for you - I will pop over to your other blog and follow your journey. You will be inmy prayers hun.

That is a lovely surprise package. And all the way from France — how exciting.

If the chocolate were in my house, it's fate would have been decided within one day. Chocolate doesn't last long around me. I have no self control whatsoever.

Savor each delicate piece of that chocolate and enjoy as it melts graciously in your mouth. Sounds like you deserve every tiny morsel. As for that beautifully coloured tea towel...mon dieu...a wall hanging it is! Enjoy its brilliance every time those colours cause you to glance their way! Best wishes from a new follower! :)
