It seems like I've been playing around with bits of pieces of crochet tablecloth and doileys forever, but I think I've finally settled on a new brooch - Vintage tablecloth teamed with a simple Vintage Button.
It seems a bit too much like 'understated elegance' for me.

This is very pretty, and yes, elegant. You could always add another button either behind or on top of the one that is there for a burst of colour. Nice!
the neutral colours would go with anything, so works really well :) that fabric it is on is really nice :D and the 2 photograph well together
That is really cute. It would also look really nice in a classic black and white combo.
I really like it, you can still really see the essence of the crochet but in a new way. Are you going to use some of the ones you dyed? Like you I'm a bit of a colour on colour person. More is more :)But really elegant this restrained look.
It's lovely but yes, a little too 'understatedly elegant' for my wardrobe.
I like it, it is delicate and simple...tres elegant. Will comliment easily lots of things.Happy playing around Cam!
I have received my little purse I beleive you did a great job it fits perfectly with his mummy ;)Merci, merci, merci!!!!!!!!Have a wonderful day ;) Sandrine xxxx
Yes, it's beautiful, and beautifully simple. Lots of potential for different looks just with the change of a button too.
PS I'm really besotted with my flower brooch. I can't believe the level of detail. The different-coloured stitching, the dyeing, the shaping and stiffening, really sturdy professional finish. I think you should be charging far more Cam. Other people charge the same for covering a button!
I think it's gorgeous.
I too think it's just lovely .
That K.I.S.S acronym was invented for a reason. It's absolutely lovely.
i really like it! perhaps a different colour button would spice it up a little bit?
I'm giving away one of my jewellery trees if u'd like to enter!
I love the simplicity of this.

I love it too!
I love it, but I'd be tempted to add a baby blue or pink pearlised button to the top of the big button. It would be the perfect mix of shabby chic and understated elegance ;-)
I love it too. Could go either way on this one. Maybe another layer? Yet it is great just like it is. Depends what you wear it with I guess.
I'm joining the fan club here too - it's gorgeous! :)
i really like it just the way it is. there is something really sweet about the simplicity of the colours. well done!
Great idea, I really like it!
YAY... it's so beautiful and simple... I think it's perfect. What did you use to pack it with? I found a pattern for a table cloth dress in a mag I bought and am extremely excited as I have the perfect table cloth which belonged to my Grandmother. I don't know when I will make it but I added to my list of things to make... hehe.

your brooches are lovely, good luck with the market :)

Good luck with your market.

It's really lovely. I love that it's so simple and clean. And their are all kinds of variety's possible. Nice!
How good does the plain white look on the patterned background?!
Classic. For me, a square button.
Remonds me to get on with my white-on-white button evening bag.
Its really beautiful - I love this new prototype. I keep thinking of how wonderful my mum's antique jet buttons would look on a piece of black tablecloth.
I love this Cam it's so gorgeous and goes together perfectly!!!
really lovely Cam. Simply elegant and the wearer can dress it up or down. for a special occasion I could see a cluster of these - just devine!
Love it!
Definitely one of my faves. ;)
