I finally finished a project...yippee! This apron was on my desk yesterday........
It's really difficult to take a photo in the mirror with a flash...this is the best I could do.....
The tawny frogmouths dissapeared over the weekend (I think it was too cold for them) but they're back today.
I managed to catch them as they were doing some stretching and posing.....
It looks like he spotted me!

Whohoo! Fab apron.
And your Frogmouths are still the cutest evah!
The apron is lovely. I really like the fabric you have used.
Fantastic Frogmouth photos once again. I wonder if I have been watching too much children's telly though? First thing I thought when I saw the last photo, is that Frogmouth looks like Oscar the Grouch, with his eyebrows raised!
I love the colours you used for your apron. Very nice.
Aren't they just gorgeous birds! Strange to see them moving around during the day. I thought they were nocturnal creatures.
Nice colours!!
That last shot is hilarious. It's like he really is staring right at you! They are such the best little critters.
oh your apron is fab!! I love the Frogmouths, they are so cute when they are pretending they are not there!!!
Love the style of that apron! Love your resident owls.
Lovin that apron!
Hey,thanks for your kind comment. Not sure where my bunny ended up but I'm sure she'll be ok. I am soooooo green with envy about your owls, love your blog too.
That apron is gorgeous. That might need to be my project for the next sewing bonanza. I have been wanting to make myself an apron for ages. I could use my green and yellow spots.
I wish I had neighbours as cute as those frogmouths...
And that's a fabulous apron - inspires one to swan about in the kitchen, looking glamourous.... as I'm apt to do (not).
lovely lovely apron indeed! And those tawny frogmouths are very special neighbours.
OOOhhhh I love the apron!! You sure a quick. Something like that would take me days (depending on the mood maybe even weeks) to finish. Great job!
Your apron is beautiful, the perfect mix of frill, flirty and cool!
OK, those are the strangest birds I have ever seen. I have been following along on your posts of them and doing my research. We don't have anything like them in the states. They are like owls in some ways and not at all in others. It is so neat you get to take such great photos, and can share them with us frogmouthless Americans!
Glad you have been feeling ok. I am putting you down for my lungs if I should ever not need them! Love Stacy
I love the apron, I feel like I all of a sudden need one, guess I had better start sewing. Love the owls too, I am off to my first brown owls Monday so I have taken an even keener interest in them of late.
I adore your photos of the tawny frogmouths. They're characters, aren't they?
It looks like you have some owl calisthenics going on in your backyard. The stretching photo made me laugh!
Lurve the apron. Very girly and retro and sensibly big enough to cover your clothes. Great job!
