They remind me of marble bags. Marbles were colourful precious gems when I was little. You could maybe start your own tradition of precious jewels. I'm pretty sure my nana started the tradition for her daughters and grandchildren. I'm not sure she would have anything like my own "family jewels" of her own.
What a clever idea to add contracting fabric. I wrap most of my presents in bags like this each year, but you know - I've never thought of contrasting fabric like that.... What a clever crafter!
