Carefully check the pattern on the fabric before you cut out the pieces for the shorts!

I cut out a pair of pjs upside down once. But a helpful friend rationalised that it meant that when I was wearing them, I'd be able to see the pattern right way up!

I reckon the shorts qualify as quirky, they're fine to wear.

LOL - thanks for that! You beat my stuff up today - interfacing on the 'right' side of the fabric :o lucky it was sew on facing huh?

I remember when I was in high school we had to make boxer shorts. I chose a patterned fabric, and I was sure, given the pattern, that I had to cut the shorts a different way to what the teacher told me. She told me "not to be stupid" so I did it her way, and sure enough the print came out upside down! Grrr! But since then, I've made the mistake myself... hehehe
