This is.....what I'm suprised I like

This weeks theme is from Victoria over at Earl and Cookie and it's a very tricky one....
I've been racking my brain all morning trying to think of something interesting.
Anyone that knows me also knows that I have an absolute hatred of eating anything green and leafy...but for some weird reason, I actually like baby spinach. I think the first time I tried it was when it was part of the filling in a lamb and pinenut burger. I was suprised that I didn't have to spit it out! Weird but true.
For more of this is...head over and have a sqiuzz right here.

Yum, I love spinach too, and I add it to just about any dish I'm making. It was one of the notoriously hated vegetables in kids' books when I was little, not sure why!

I like baby spinach too. But do you chop it into teeny pieces in the food processor first?!

I didn't like spinach when I was a kid, but I grew into it, and now I like it. My boy is the odd one, and has loved spinach since he was a toddler...to the extent of begging that I buy it and use it. :p

Mmm... baby spinach! Lettuce is surprisingly expensive here, that until recently (not supposed to eat it anymore :( ), that's what I would make my salad for lunch from.

Love the sound of a lamb and pinenut burger (with baby spinach), lamb is another thing I really miss living over here.

That's funny, I used to hate spinach as a kid, mostly because in our house all we ever had was canned spinach...gross! But as an adult I love fresh spinach. Spinach salad is yummy!

yes, I agree baby spinach is the most pleasing of all the greens. But then again I'm part rabbit and could eat leafy's all day long :)
